Return of the Lost

There will come a time when you believe everything is finished.  That will be the beginning.  -Louis L'Amour

I went to the edge of the world and I am finally on my return trip back to center.

We recently moved from Minneapolis, MN to Richmond, VA.  A new time zone, a new climate and a new adventure.

Preparing for the move and enjoying the summer with family and friends as we slowly closed a chapter on our lives engulfed me most of the summer.  The big move came and on my first day in Richmond I was shaken into my new existence by an earthquake, quickly followed by Hurricane Irene a few days later.  It's Hurriquake season in these parts.  Nothing like tornado season and snowstorm season in MN.

We are starting to feel settled in the new house, but I still wonder who snuck the extra "stuff" on the moving truck and brought it here.  I recognize most of it and it should have disappeared years ago.  Several trips to Goodwill and a few listings on Craigslist and the load has been lightened a little but there is still half a garage of "stuff" that needs to go.  Interested in a lovely bedroom set or a stove?

The Yoga/Thai studio is set up and I have been practicing at home.  I feel blessed each time  I step into the space and get grounded on the mat.  I am toying with offering a few small classes.  I definitely want to begin doing Thai Yoga Bodywork there.  It's all about finding establishing the connection to the community again.  It's the hardest part of moving, that and being so far away from good friends.
